PLA activities in the waters and airspace around Taiwan

6 to 6 a.m. (UTC+8) Thursday to Friday, Jan. 4-5

2.PLA activities：
8 PLA aircraft and 4 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. 2 of the detected aircraft had entered Taiwan's southwest ADIZ. R.O.C. Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond these activities.

3.PLA balloon：
One PRC's balloon was detected at 06:59 yesterday after crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait at the location 88 nautical miles northwest of Hsinchu and altitude of approximately 24,000 feet. The balloon headed northeast and disappeared at 09:43 yesterday.
